During the wizard, you will need to enter the correct parameters for your operator. You can contact your operator for these, or check our online list, or do a Google search, to find the appropriate parameters for your network. You will not be able to make a connection without knowing the correct parameters!
Make sure that your adapter (U111 or U132 or U142) and the card you intend to use is properly installed before you begin; again, you won't be able to make a connection if the installation process has not completed. Before you can make a manual connection, you must have completed the installation of your U111 and of the Sierra Wireless Aircard. If you are unsure if your U111 is correctly installed, check the installation guides in our FAQ section.
When your installation is completed, you should be able to see the devices appear in Device Manager. (Go to My Computer and Right-click on it. Then chose 'Properties' and click on the 'Hardware' tab. There is a button to click to open Device Manager.
You will make the manual connection using the modem device in the Aircard 850 card, which appears as 'Sierra Wireless Aircard 3G Modem':
